Home of famous playright Tennessee Williams who wrote 'Streetcar Named Desire,' 'The Glass Menagerie' and 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof' to name a few was born in
Columbus in 1911. Today, the museum serves as a state Welcome Center in addition to artifacts from Williams' past.
