Babb is located in
Glacier County, just south of the border with Canada on US 89. The road from there leads to nearby Lake Sherburn in Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park.
Babb was named after C.C. Babb, district engineer of the Saint Marys Irrigation Project.
Today the town consists of tourist cabins, a few houses, a general store and a post office.
