Local legend has it that President Warren G. Harding along with President Teddy Roosevelt stayed here during their time in office. Franklin D Roosevelt made a stop here after visiting with associates in Butte. In 1896 the Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Gentleman Jim Corbett, trained and lived at Boulder Hot Springs, along with other famous boxers of the time.
