Chief Plenty Coups State Park |
Situated within the Crow Reservation in south central Montana, the park was the home of Plenty Coups, last chief of the Crow. His log home and store remain as evidence of his effort's to lead his people into adopting the ways of the white man. The museum on site offers disabled accessibility and flush toilets. Picnicking is available for a per vehicle charge or a walk-in charge, but no overnight camping is available. There are visitor amenities at the town of Pryor, a mile away. The park is open from May 1 to September 30.
