Hinsdale Montana |
Hinsdale is located in Valley County, on US 2 where Hwy 537 comes in, west of Glasgow.
On the Burlington Northern line, Hinsdale was first located one and a half miles east of its present site. As is true of most hi-line towns, Hinsdale sprang up as the result of the railroad being pushed through Montana by the St. Paul, Minneapolis, and Manitoba Railway.
