Laughing Water Guest RanchNorth-West Montana Guest Ranch |
The ranch property has been in the Mikita family for 30 years. It began in 1988 using it's ranch house as a lodge. The old Homestead Cabin was refurbished for guest use a few years later, and in 1996 construction of 4 more log cabins brought capacity up to 32. The owners' son Ted Jr. took over in 1996 and runs a professional, family-oriented guest operation.
Log cabins/Lodge, mountain wilderness, superb food, horse adventures, children's program, rafting, pack trips, cattle drives in May only. Open May through September. In the main lodge you will find four 2-room suites with adjoining full tiled bathrooms as well as the Chuckwagon Dining Room, Ponderosa Game Room and 2 massive fireplaces. The beautiful log cabins named after famous western painters, are tastefully decorated with their artwork. Each duplex cabin has a private room, bath, and covered porch on each end. The kids can have an adventure camping out in Tepees and our Fort Laramie during part of their stay.
