The Historic Depot at Livingston was built in 1902 as the Norhtern Pacifics Railroad's original access to Yellowstone National Park. The depot houses a museum the features the railroad life and western history through exhibits and art shows. In 1991, the depot was featured in Robert Redford's movie adaptation of "A River Runs Through It."

The Depot Center Museum operates from May to October, providing historic and cultural programs for the benefit of Park County residents and visitors form around the world. In the winter months, the Depot seves as a community cultural center, hosting such diverse events as concerts, banquets, holiday programs, and weddings.
