Monida is located in
Beaverhead County on the Idaho state line in extreme southwest Montana nine miles southwest of
Lima. The first community in Montana on I-15, it is close to Monida Pass at Exit 0.
The improved gravel Mt 509 leaves Monida for Lakeview and Red Rocks National Recreation Area. The town and the recreation area use the Zip code for Lima.
