Murphy Lake Ranger Station

Fortine Ranger District

The Ranger Station is located 22 miles south of the Canadian border. The district encompasses the Kootenai National Forest around the Tobacco Valley along with the small communities of Eureka, Fortine, Murphy Lake and Trego.

The Ten Lakes Scenic Area is located in the NE portion of the district and offers numerous trails for a quality hiking experience.
