In the heart of western Montana's Flathead Indian Reservation is a unique cultural center, built by the region's original creators of the fine arts and crafts, the Salish, Kootenai, and Pend d'Oreille peoples. It is more than a museum; it is a vital, living encounter with Native American culture, as centuries-old wisdom for living harmoniously with the earth is practiced and taught. The center features an exhibit gallery, educational programs, and Native Ed-Ventures. It is located on Highway 93, 6 miles south of Polson. Open daily, year round.
