Saco is located in
Phillips County 43 miles northwest of
Glasgow between Hinsdale and Malta on US 2 on the banks of the Milk River near Nelson Reservoir, Hewitt Lake Wildlife Refuge, and Sleeping Buffalo Hot Springs.
