The Scapegoat Wilderness Area covers almost a quarter million areas and is administered by Lewis and Clark National Forest, Lolo National Forest and [helenanf] and is located within those forests. Primitive camping is allowed with no public facilities. This wilderness is part of the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex.
