Scobey

The seat of Daniels County, Scobey is located in Daniels County 42 miles west of Plentywood between Flaxville and Four Buttes along Hwys 5/13 on the banks of the Poplar River near the Fort Peck Indian Reservation. Located in the heart of grain and cattle country, Scobey is the home of the Pioneer Town and Museum, largest homestead museum in the Northwest.

The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 1,036, a decrease of 118 since 1990.
