South Sandstone is a state recreation area at the South Sandstone Reservoir in SE Montana. Restrooms and drinking water are available at the campground. Fishing, swimming and boating can be enjoyed on the reservoir. A boat ramp is conveniently located. The area is 13 miles west of
Baker on Highway 12, then 7 miles south on county road.
