Virginia City Overland Stage

Authentic Stage Coach tours up scenic and historic Alder Gulch to the site of Virginia City's first gold discovery made in 1863. We'll take you on a 25 minute scenic, narrated tour up Historic Alder Gulch aboard an authentic stage coach. Among other historic landmarks (such as our "haunted hospital), you'll see where Bill Fairweather and his group of explorers/fortune seekers made that historic gold discovery in 1863, which turned out to be the United States' largest "placer" gold discovery ever! Meet Dolly and Lady our team of beautiful black per heron Horses!
