Grand Avenue Christian Church began with a meeting held by M L Streator in 1887. The Church is the principal place for worship, education, baptism and fellowship. It offers everyone the opportunity to grow in Christian faith and understanding through worship services. A variety of adult and youth faith exploration classes, Christian women's groups and disciple men's group are available. Men's Tuesday breakfast and Bible study, youth fellowship group and various fellowship functions and activities are also conducted. Sunday school is provided.
