This district office administers the SW portion of the
Bitterroot National Forest. Permits for floats on the Selway River are administered through this office as well. The deadline is January 31. Office hours for general visitor information are 8:30 to 4:30. The office is 60 miles south of
Missoula and 16 miles west on West Fork Road #473. Open all year.
