The courtyard of the Regional Museum of Guadalajara. The building once served as a prison for Spanish prisoners of war captured during the War of Independence. Than once a seminary, the museum now houses a display of regional arts and crafts, archaeological artifacts and an excellent collection of European, colonial and modern paintings.
