Hopewell Rocks
|
The Fundy Tides, the highest in the world, gouged the four-story sculptures. A new, state of the art in terpretive centre uses multimedia presentations to explain the activity of the tides. The rocks, at low tide, resemble flowerpots. At high tide, the flowerpots disappear, leaving tree-topped islands in their place. Exhibits at the site also explain the features that make the Bay of Fundy one of the Marine Wonders of the World, and help visitors to better understand the unique Fundy ecosystem and the history and culture of Albert County.
