One of the few remaning great sand dunes on the Atlantic Coast in North America, the fragile ecology of this area is protected by a twelve kilometer boardwalk. The boardwalk provides access to native plants, animals, and birds. During the peak summer periods, from the middle of July through the middle of August, visitation to the site is limited. Visitors are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Located just north of the town of Bouctouche.
