The Miramichi River is one of the most famous salmon-fishing rivers in the world, and the scenic drive accompanying it can take visitors to Canada's Irish Festival, the Miramichi Folk Song Festival, the Central New Brunswick Woodmen's Museum, and a suspension foot bridge. Along the route are many restaurants and museums, where you can enjoy salmon suppers, folklore, legends, and shipbuilding history.
The only town along the route is Miramichi.
