Blue Marlin has a tidy selection of apartments located, either Oceanfront or Second Row Ocean View, scattered over a two block area. Beach waters are bathable from late May thru mid September; fishing is year round, with peak season from September through November. Kure Beach, located near the historic civil war battleground of Fort Fisher, has a permanent population of under 1,000 residents.
