Clemmons is located in Forsyth County between Winston-Salem and and [statevil] along US Hwy 158 near the Yadkin River. Clemmons was founded in 1802 by Peter Clemmons who developed it into a community. In the village hall you can view the 'Hattie Butner,' a nine-passenger 1870's Concord Coach, built by Edwin T. Clemmons great grandson of Peter Clemmons.
