Piedmont Wildlife Center is a federally approved and non-profit corporation incorporated in the State of North Carolina. Its mission is to support native North American wildlife and its habitat through rehabilitation, education, and research, with the emphasis given to wildlife and wilderness.
It is devoted to addressing the challenges of working out ways for wildlife and contemporary human settlements to co-exist.
Outreach and training are provided to the community, and others working on wildlife and rehabilitation issues. Wildlife care to return injured orphaned and sick wildlife to their native habitat as healthy animals is part of their work.
