Dry Ridge Inn was built in 1849. The three story home has eight rooms with private baths, cable TV, CD player, gas fireplaces and some can be combined to make suites for large families. Seating can be arranged for a private candlelight breakfast or tables can be arranged a groups. Breakfast can also be served out on the patio beside the water garden. Local attractions include Blue Ridge Parkway, quiet water canoeing/rafting, University of North Carolina, Mars Hill College, SART-Southern Appalachan Repertory Theatre, Thomas Wolfe Memorial and the Grovewood Gallery.
