Spec Fever is a Back Country style fly rod and light tackle fishing guide service run by Captain Gary Dubiel. It is based out of Oriental, North Carolina, a quaint waterside village located on the shores of the Neuse River. This rich and protected estuary offers anglers many opportunities to tangle with speckled sea trout, red drum, flounder, striped bass, tarpon, black drum, Spanish mackerel, weakfish, and largemouth bass while enjoying the unspoiled and uncrowned beauty of the area's waters.
