Set on seven scenic acres in the midst of the Pisgah National Forest (hidden among mountain laurel between the villages of Black Mountain and Old Fort), The Inn on Mill Creek features: an historic dam built in 1917 by the Southern Railway Company with a trout-populated lake and waterfall; a 100' spray Andrews Geyser in the valley below powered by the dam; the Long Branch of Mill Creek running along the eastern edge of the inn; an orchard with over 186 apple, apricot, and nectarine trees; plenty of room to quietly stroll among blueberry bushes and grape vines; and two forest-fire access trails in the Pisgah National Forest adjacent to the south end of the grounds, perfect for hiking or mountain biking.
