Indian Trail

Indian Trail is located in Union County between Charlotte and Monroe along US Hwy 74 near Matthews. Indian Trail was on a trading route which was established in the seventeenth century. This path ran between Petersburg, Va. to the Waxhaw Indian settlement; thus, the name Indian Trail.

Indian Trail is part of the Charlotte-Gastonia-Rock Hill metropolitan area.
