St Lukes Hospital

St. Lukes Hospital is a 73-bed JCAHO accredited hospital providing primary and acute healthcare services to Polk County, North Carolina and the upstate of South Carolina. They offer a variety of healthcare services in a beautiful setting at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

St. Lukes is the only hospital in its primary service area and it provides a 24-hour physician staffed emergency department and specialized medical and surgical services usually associated with much larger hospitals. Also residing on the St. Lukes campus is the Polk County EMS and Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

St. Lukes Hospital enjoys close affiliations with Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and Mission-St. Josephs Health System, both major tertiary care centers, only a few minutes away by helicopter or ambulance.
