Kindred Hospital Greensboro is a 124-bed acute care referral hospital located off I-40/85 at exit 126 (Martin Luther King Highway) or just off I-29. They are a specialty referral hospital that serves pulmonary and ventilator-dependent patients who are in need of longer care than a typical hospital can provide. They also serve patients with other system failures or those who need a longer rehabilitation process than normal. Their specialized focus enables them to have a very high success rate of weaning patients off the ventilator. Being the only specialty hospital in the region capable of providing this highly focused care, they have a partnership with over 100 hospitals throughout the Carolinas and Virginia.
