October Hill is a stately mansion perched atop a knoll, on 3 acres, surrounded by majestic oaks, dogwoods and rhododendron. Designed by architect Charles Parker, designer of Ashevilles Grove Arcade, this elegant two-story stuccoed home has remain ed virtually unchanged over the years. It still retains all original wall light sconces, bathroom fixtures, hardwood floors, windows, fireplaces and magnificent curved staircase. The only significant changes have been the addition of a bathroom and an elevator.
