Paramount's Carowinds Theme Park

This park has a large selection of rides including world-class rollercoaster TOP GUN: The Jet Coaster the Carolinas' only inverted steel coaster and three different water rides. Over 12 acres flowing fun awaits visitors in WaterWorks water park. Navigate a four-story rafting adventure; plunge through twisting tube slides; climb, spray, splash on a huge, flowing playground; brave wild waves or let the world melt away with a float down a ramblin' river. It's showtime anytime at Paramount's Carowinds. With live stage productions and plenty of characters the whole park's a stage. Hanna-Barbera characters host the Animation Station which features a carousel of 68 wooden horses, hand-carved in 1923.
