Rising Meadow Farm and Inn

Nestled in the rolling hills of central North Carolina, Rising Meadow Farm is 128 acres of fields, meadows and woodland, multiple springs and a pond stocked for fishing. Birds and wildlife are very much at home in this natural environment. Begun in 1993 as an excuse to leave the stress of city living behind, the Fay family decided to turn a hobby into a working sheep and cattle farm.

The center of the Inn itself is a late 1800's North Carolina farmhouse. Carefully renovated to maint ainthe charm of that era, it boasts the original heart pine floors, board walls and well-worn stairs with a handmade railing. The front porch, complete with swing and rocking chairs, is a favorite sitting area to catch a cool breeze on a warm day, while the rear deck offers a vista of natural serenity. Bed and Breakfast accommodations at Rising Meadow Farm include two guest rooms.
