Sandhills is a two-year, public, post-secondary educational institution accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. This school awards certificates, diplomas, and associate degrees in three college transfer programs and 54 technical and vocational programs. Sandhills also offers the only Landscape Gardening program in the state. In addition, several academic programs, such as Hotel & Restaurant Management and Turf Management, are designed to support the area's golf and hospitality industries. Within the college service area, Moore and Hoke Counties, they work closely with the public schools and area business and industry to provide education and training ranging from literacy to advanced technology.
