Scenic Overlook Bed & Breakfast

Located at the base of Pilot Mountain State Park in the town of Pilot Mountain (better known as "Mt. Pilot" from the Andy Griffith Show), this 9,000 square foot Bed and Breakfast is nestled on 100 acres of woodlands. Sitting high on a hillside, the home looks out over the six acre private stocked lake. Directly behind the lake is the majestic Pilot Mountain. Each suite is decorated in its own individual style, which range from Victorian to traditional and 18th century furnishings. You will find hand carved mahogany, iron and poster beds which set off the mood of the rooms, along with all the ruffles and lace of yesteryear. Paddleboats, rowboats and a canoe are available during the warmer months. There are three gazebos available for picnicking next to the lake. And an in-ground swimming pool! There is an exercise room available, or exercise by walking the many trails on Pilot Mountain (2 minutes from the house).
