Shallotte

Shallotte is located in Brunswick County southwest of Wilmington, between Bolivia and Grissettown along US Hwy 17 on the banks of the Shallotte River near Supply, Ocean Isle Beach, and Holden Beach. The town is home to some great golf courses including Brunswick County's first course Brierwood Golf Course, and Arnold Palmer's latest design River's Edge Golf Course. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 1,495, an increase of 422 since 1990.

Shallotte is part of the Wilmington, North Carolina metro area.
