Tapoco

Tapoco is located in Graham County between Robbinsville and Maryville, TN along US Hwy 129 where the Little Tennessee River and the Cheoah River meet near Fontana Village, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Santeetlah Lake.

Established in 1930 to house construction crews working on the nearby Cheoah dam and named after the Tallasee Power Company.
