The Amateur Tour offers golfers, whether a scratch level star or trying-hard high handicapper, the chance to play golf on championship golf courses, to compete fairly against their peers and to experience the excitement of tournament golf. Amateur Tour conducts a series of 7 tournaments in 4 divisions for a total of 28 tour events. The Metro Detroit area comprises the Michigan Section. Central and Southern Divisions combine to make up the Ohio Section. The Indiana Section has one division, in Indianapolis. In addition to the regular season tournament events, there is a 36 hole flight qualifying for all new member.
