Hawkesdene House offers the charm and comfort of an English Country House with the rustic beauty of the North Carolina mountains. Our lovely non-smoking Inn includes five rooms in the main house and three family cottages (one with limited wheelchair accessibility). Mountain creek for kids to enjoy, hiking into National Forest from your door. White water rafting, horseback riding, trout fishing, scenic Train rides and many other outdoor activities nearby.While our Inn is perfect for families with older children, we do not accommodate childrenunder the age of 12. Children of all ages are welcome in cottages. Full breakfast is included for Inn guests, but not in cottages.
