Wildwater Raft & Rail Excursions

Combines rail and white-water excursions in one outing. Meeting at the railroad dept on Main Street, the adventure begins with a scenic 2-hour train ride across Fontana Lake to the top of Nantahala Gorge. Rafts are then boarded for a guided 3-hour trip down the Nantahala River. Lunch is included. Trips daily mid-April to late October; departure times vary. Children under 60 pounds are not permitted.
