Owl's Nest Inn & Engadine Cabins are located in the mountains on 12 acres, convenient to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The inn was built in 1885, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The inn offers five guest rooms with modern conveniences such as central air conditioning and ceiling fans. All rooms have sitting areas, private baths, gas fireplaces and the Engadine suite has a whirlpool tub for two. For guests who prefer a little more privacy, the Cabins at Engadine are self-contained with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Enjoy wraparound porches, picnic areas and benches in the meadow. A full breakfast is served by the fireplace in the formal dining room. Local activities include skiing, whitewater rafting, tubing, horse back riding and hot air ballooning.
