Crosby North Dakota

Crosby, founded in 1904, is located in extreme northwestern North Dakota in Divide County (of which it is the county seat) about 100 miles northwest of Minot, 60 miles north-northeast of Williston and 5 miles south of the Canadian border. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 1,028, a decrease of 284 since 1990.

One interesting day trip is a journey to [writrohs] about 30 miles southwest of town. Another diversion and a treat for kids is the Lostwood National Wildlife Refuge located about 45 statute miles to the southeast.

Crosby Country Club, a semi-private club with an open guest policy, awaits golfers of all skill levels. They feature a 9-hole, par 35, 2,900-yard course open from April Fool's Day through Halloween.
