Satre Memorial Library, serving an area of 720 residents, has a collection of 10,500 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 10 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials350 video items, such as DVDs and VHS tapes.
Staffing consists of one employee, plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $1,320. Patrons make 2,500 visits annually, and check out materials 7,800 times. Fifty-eight percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
