The mission of the Dakota Dinosaur Museum is to promote tourism by providing a facility for preservation and display of geological and paleontological specimens for public review and education. The museum exhibits represent a sampling of the paleontological specimens collected. Items a variety of items made from minerals, fossil specimens, insects in amber and dinosaur teeth. They provide students the opportunity to learn about dinosaurs, rocks, minerals, mammals, vertebrate and invertebrate fossils. Other Attractions include Joachim Museum, Pioneer Machinery Museum and Prairie Outpost Park. Provisions for visitors with disabilities include a ramp, wheel chair and restroom facilities.
