Walhalla North Dakota

Walhalla is located in northeastern North Dakota in Pembina County on the banks of the [pembrivr] about 5 miles south of the Canadian border.

A number of rivers flow through this part of the state lending themselves to extensive fishing opportunities. In addition, Icelandic State Park is about 15 miles south-southeast of town. Golfers always enjoy the facilities and course itself at Walhalla Country Club, a semi-private club with an open guest policy. The 9-hole layout, built in 1937, is just shy of 3,000 yards and has a par of 36.
