Alliance is located in
Box Butte County (of which it is the county seat) 36 miles north of Bridgeport between Antioch and
Hemingford along Highway 2 near
Nebraska National Forest.
Alliance is at the eastern end of scenic highway 2 which runs two-thirds of Nebraska.
