The farm is owned by The National Arbor Day Foundation, whose mission is tree planting, conservation, and wise environmental stewardship. On the 260 acres are an apple orchard, a preservation orchard, a windbreak arboretum, a hazelnut research field, agro-forestry and bio-engineering demonstration sites and hiking trails.
