The Ranch is a Co-op Park of the Escapees RV Club located on the northern edge of the Chihuahuan Desert in southeastern New Mexico near Lakewood, between Artesia and Carlsbad. The Ranch began in 1982 with the initial lot drawing taking place in May 1983. Since then, 120 lots have been developed along with facilities such as a large Ranch House activities center, dry camping and storage areas, an office, laundry, and workshop.
