Efford's Hunting Adventures offer some of the best Caribou, Moose and Bear hunting grounds in remote Newfoundland. They operate lodges in Western and Central Newfoundland, as well as a commercial air service. All hunters, employees, supplies and meat are flown back in a float equipped aircraft. Lodges are of log construction with three double occupancy private bedrooms, hot and cold running water with showers and indoor plumbing. Lighting is provided by generated power, while the refrigerator and cooking range is fueled by propane. The lodges are heated with 12 hour burner wood stoves. A full time cook is on staff at each location to provide home cooked meals and shore lunches during the day. The menu will consist of turkey, beef, duck, steak and fish.
