Located on the South West Coast of Newfoundland, West Woods Outfitters offers some of the best moose and caribou hunts in Canada with an outfit that is experienced and professional. They are approximately one hour and forty five minutes from the ferry terminal in Port aux Basques. The guide to hunter ratio is 1-2, however, as the week progresses and more animals are bagged, the ratio becomes 1-1.
The hunting lodge has indoor plumbing with showers, TV and VCR. It includes a large living area, two bedrooms with bunk style quarters for the hunters, one bedroom for the guides, a fully equipped kitchen/eating area and two bathrooms. Prices include all licence fees, guide services, full time cook, meals (including lunch packs) and transportation while hunting.
